Measurements & Pricing
CUBIC YARD: a box, or cube of space, that is 3 feet long on all 3 sides. All haulers haul by the cubic yard; it is a volume measurement. Price per cubic yard is all that matters to you because the more you pay per cubic yard the more your total price will be. Truck or container size means HOW MUCH can be taken away per trip! INDUSTRY-STANDARD TRUCK LOAD is a full-size pickup having a bed 8 feet long, 6 feet wide & having sidewalls up above the top of the cab making it 4.5 feet deep or just over the roof. If you stand in the bed the sidewall would stop at shoulder-height for a woman and about chest-height for a man. This load FULL is 8 cubic yards. You can use your imagination to guess at how much you have in this manner and estimate your cost using the pricing schedule below-or just call.
Different Material Types
NORMAL WEIGHTED materials, measured by the cubic yard, can also be measured by the TRUCK-LOAD or fraction of it. HEAVY WEIGHTED materials are measured more strictly by the CUBIC YARD and any fraction of it. This price schedule does NOT apply to branch hauling loads which are CHEAPER (by 25%) then the prices listed below because of lower recycling costs. Recyclers charge lower rates then landfills to process certain material types; we do not set these prices. These entity's prices are the biggest factor in our charge to you because we have to pay them for final disposal.Examples of HEAVY WEIGHTED materials are block, brick, concrete, dirt, gravel, rock, shingles & sod. These materials weight 1 ton per cubic yard or more. NORMAL WEIGHTED materials, billed at our base rate of $ 35.00 per cubic yard, weight less than 1 ton per cubic yard. Examples of NORMAL WEIGHTED materials are appliances, branches, bushes, carpet, chemicals, electronics, fence, furniture, Haz-Mat, household, trees & wood."
Our pricing structure is based on the fact that we can get within 20 feet of the material we are removing. If we are coming into your home for a significant amount of debris, such as a basement haul, a $25.00 per man hour service charge may apply. We recycle many different materials but many recyclers still charge us though their rates are generally lower than the landfills. These entity's prices are the biggest factor in our charge to you because we have to pay them for final processing. We also donate to Goodwill, ARC, etc. furniture and other items that are in good shape and which we know they will take.
As of the Spring of 2022 all NORMAL WEIGHTED encountered single-items are billed at the $ 35.00 per cubic yard base rate with the exception of Hot tubs & Pianos which normally run about $ 300.00 per item. We are a WHOLESALE hauling company. We offer bulk rates for large hauls under certain circumstances below our base rate. Call, text or email us with your Junk Removal needs.
